{"id":2267,"date":"2020-03-13T09:08:36","date_gmt":"2020-03-13T17:08:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rolcc.net\/rolcc2\/?p=2267"},"modified":"2020-03-13T23:11:03","modified_gmt":"2020-03-14T07:11:03","slug":"covid-19-update-03-12-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rolcc.net\/rolcc2\/covid-19-update-03-12-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"COVID-19 Update 03-12-2020"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On 3\/11, in fighting the spread of Coronavirus, the White House issued a recommendation to Santa Clara County on public assembly: organizations should cancel all gatherings larger than 250 people;&nbsp; Community and faith-based organizations should move gatherings of any size to video-accessible venues or postpone\/cancel.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In response and compliance, River of Life Christian Church shall implement the following measures:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Sunday Services<\/strong><ul><li><strong>Starting 3\/15, all Sunday services will be conducted online (no onsite gathering)<\/strong><\/li><li>The Mandarin service will live stream at 11AM<\/li><li>All other worship services (English Adult, Ignite, Youth and children) will too be video-accessible<\/li><li>Access to all worship services will be available on the church website and in the ROLCC Social app<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Prayer Meetings<\/strong><ul><li>Weekday Harps and Bowls meetings will temporarily stop<\/li><li>Wednesday night meeting will stop, with a consideration to resume in the form of live streaming (TBA)<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Equipping Classes<\/strong><ul><li>Classes will be pre-recorded and delivered to the students<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Small Groups<\/strong><ul><li>Pastoral zones will decide their own manner of gatherings, though we strongly recommend them to use online venues and platforms<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Zone Retreats<\/strong><ul><li>All retreats dated before June shall be postponed or cancelled\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Church Office<\/strong><ul><li>Church office will remain open during the week. Pastors and staff continue to minister and work.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Offering<\/strong><ul><li>We encourage online and\/or text offering\u00a0<\/li><li>Mailing checks continues to be an option<\/li><li>Church office remains open for those who prefer walk-in donation<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Fasting &amp; Prayer Campaign<\/strong><ul><li>We will conduct a Fasting and Prayer campaign via the ROLCC Social app<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>We shall maintain all of the above for 30 days.
